About Patricia Arroyo
I have been painting scenes of Asbury Park for 20 years. In between the local works are images from Europe and the United States.
All the work you see here are images of my original paintings done by hand with watercolor, acrylics and oils on either canvas, paper or wood.
Every single painting is an inspiration from either my childhood, travels and interests driven by experimentation.
My interest in Tillie has grown over the years and the images that have emerged was a direct response to the fall and destruction of a once fabulous time in history. It has since became a narration of events which can easily fall into any ones life. It welcomes, haunts and amuses in scenes that captivates the viewer in a reflection of their own memories.
